(Training) JobStart Philippines

I took part of this program as one of their trainers in the three batches of Life Skills training of JobStart Philippines held during the years 2015 to early 2017. As a trainer, I conducted Life Skills training to participants of JobStart Program, a youth-employment intervention of the Philippine government that aims to shorten youth’s school-to-work transition by strengthening the knowledge and skills acquired by jobseekers in formal education or vocational schools, making them more capable to adapt to the demands of the labor market. I also carried out one-on-one career coaching with the students, delivered classes that dwell on values of professionalism, work ethics and readiness, and work competencies, and acted as a team leader in one run. Being a team leader, I facilitated the coordination between the local government officials and trainers in terms of the program delivery.
